Our linen is a 170 gsm plain weave, stone-washed twice before it is sewn. It wicks moisture better than any cotton we sell and is the sheet for hot sleepers and hot summers. The wall is 38 cm, deeper than the cotton sheets, because linen has less give and we would rather it had room.
Be honest with yourself about the first fortnight: even after two stone washes, new linen is faintly scratchy until it has been through your own machine three or four times. After that it only gets softer. It also creases more than anything else on the site.
