A plain-weave cover in the same 200-count percale as the sheets, cut 5 cm over the named duvet size so the duvet fills it without straining the seams. It closes along the foot with eleven corozo-nut buttons behind a hidden placket, and there is a tie in each inside corner to stop the duvet migrating.
Percale creases. A cover this size comes out of the machine looking like a map, and either you iron it, or you make the bed with it damp and let it dry flat, or you decide you like the look. Most of our customers end up in the third group.
